Quite like the name Rosie for dc2 but our first child is called Maisie- are these names too similar? So hard to agree on a girls name!!

I personally don’t think they’re too similar plus if you like the names once they’re a bit older they’ll rarely keep having to say their names one after the other

If you’re still worried about Rosie what about Rose (and just call her Rosie as a nn)

Then when you say them together you can say “Maisie and Rose”

I think they are. What about Rosa? Beautiful name with a very different sound to Maisie

NoSauce · 10/09/2019 12:10

Rose would be better than Rosie. Or Rosa.

I know siblings with those names. Not too similar at all

Peanutbuttericecream · 10/09/2019 15:23

Rosa is a much better bet.

Nonnymum · 10/09/2019 15:27

Why not call her Rosalie, Rosemary or Rosa but call her Rosie.
I don't think they are too similar but you might want to give her options for when she's older. But if you prefer Rosie use it.

Atlasta · 10/09/2019 15:29

A bit similar. I like Rosa

userabcname · 10/09/2019 15:38

I know siblings with these names too. I think it's fine.

They aren't too similar but they are very different styles of name.
