Henry, Lily and...

Name changed as outing and don't want anyone to spot my other opinions Grin

I have a Henry (5) and a Lily (2).
I'm now pregnant with number 3, and struggling as I've used my two favourite names!

If it's a girl, I'm leaning towards Florence or Margot.

But for a boy, I'm stuck. I prefer traditional 'Grandma/Grandad' names.
Suggestions welcome!

My mind went straight to Jemima for a girl which is funny because it's not a name I'm usually wild about. I think a J name for a boy would work well too, I like PP suggestions of Joseph or James. Congratulations!

TheJoxter · 05/09/2019 13:12

Florence for a girl, Arthur for a boy

NoSauce · 05/09/2019 13:47

George

Esther was the first name that came to mind for a girl. I do like Florence

Alternatively, Henry, Lily and....
Nancy
Olivia

Elsie
Verity
Penelope
Eloise

I like Kit & Arthur as boys choices.

If you go for James then you've got Harry Potter's family - though I don't think his full name is actually Henry

feathermucker · 05/09/2019 15:12

Jaguar2017 · 05/09/2019 15:34

Leroy, Dwayne, Jermaine, Derek, Winston, Carl, Tyrone, Jamal.

momo01 · 05/09/2019 15:38

Whilst I love both Florence and Margot, both are very popular right now. Perhaps you don't mind that, in which case ignore.

I second PPs: James feels an intuitive addition, perhaps because of Henry James, and also James and Lily Potter??

I also know a Lily with a brother called Rex, which is lovely.

HelenBackergen · 05/09/2019 15:42

Ivy
Meredith (merry)

Thomas
Benjamin

MissHenty · 05/09/2019 16:12

@momo01 Margot is only number 99th on the name list, so really isn’t that popular compared to OP other children’s names
