Hi all,

Advice on how you found your baby names?
I feel like some names recently are too trendy and I want a really nice classic name.
I’m stuck where to look.. I looked at over 1000 boys names just recently and didn’t even like one of them.
Feel like my child is gonna be named ‘baby’ at this rate

Are there any names you've even slightly liked?

Nameberry is a good source

From baby name books.

Also struggling with boys names. Being induced tomorrow at 42 weeks and don’t even have a list. We know it’s a boy so he won’t have a name Blush

Also being induced tomorrow. Baby will also be called baby. No idea what his name will be and after doing a list of all the boys’ names we know to remind us of what to avoid, we are still no further forward.

This may be the year of a new popular boys’ name, Baby!

Isn't there an app that you and your partner can rate names separately and then it compares them? Might be worth a try. Might at least help/force you to choose some that you like better than others

You could look at the website www.britishbabynames.com as she groups different types of names together for inspiration and it gives you an idea of the history and meaning of different names.
