The name is NOVA. is it stupid? if so just suggest some names to me pls.

P.s. it was also a night of great historical research. Honestly had no clue who Lenin / Starlin / Trotsky were so yeah now I know.

@Colourfulest well, half the world speaks enough Spanish to know that it means ''doesn't go'' plus if they didn't do basic spanish, there's the urban legend that was the car.

If it were Korean or Pi'che or something obscure, that'd be one thing but too many people speak Spanish to shrug and say ''that's not what it means in English though.''

I think Nova is quite good actually OP. It's a real name but not much used. Good choice!

Nova is great. I wouldn’t care about the car association, that will be long forgotten when your DD is older. The Spanish translation also wouldn’t bother me either.

Starlyn is much nicer than Nova.

I like Nova. A couple of the girls on Teen Mom have little girls called Nova. Their sisters are Stella and Vaeda which I also quite like!

Nova was the name that the midwives when DD was born in 2017 told me was the trendy name of the moment at that hospital. It’s not hideous, but I prefer other star/space type names instead.

I like it - it's the stage name of a few performers I know (three in particular, one as a first name, one as a single name, one as a second name). Makes me think of silver glitter and white feathers, mostly.

I'm not certain that this would be an association you'd like for your baby, though.

What about Lennox? Heard it in an American sitcom a few years ago. I don't mind Nova but prefer Kova short for Nakova. It means 'light' in Bulgarian. I don't suppose you're Bulgarian?
