Someone on YouTube just named their baby girl this... wasn’t sure at first but now think it’s really pretty, unique and simple.
They use nn Coco.

Not sure I’d ever use it but out of curiosity what do you think?

Why didn’t they just call her Coco?

peachypetite · 24/08/2019 15:17

Awful

pigeononthegate · 24/08/2019 15:18

Is she a bluff old cove with no legs and a beard you could lose a badger in?

If not - nope it's hideous

CendrillonSings · 24/08/2019 15:19

Sounds a bit fishy to me.

bionicnemonic · 24/08/2019 15:20

Its an old word for a boy or man! (as well as an inlet on the shoreline of course)

ReasonedCamper · 24/08/2019 15:21

Is her brother called Cliff?

userabcname · 24/08/2019 15:21

Oh I thought it was a boy's name when I read it. Definitely an unusual choice.

NiceWork · 24/08/2019 15:21

Exactly! Grin

NiceWork · 24/08/2019 15:28

Cove's siblings should be called Bloke, Geezer, GorBlimey, and Guv'nor.

NoSquirrels · 24/08/2019 15:35

How could Coco be a nickname for Cove?

BendydickCuminsnatch · 24/08/2019 15:45

How COULDNT Coco be a nickname for Cove? It’s literally the first syllable 😄

Aw I love Aspyn and Parker. Such a sweet couple, it seems they don’t have a bad bone in their bodies. While I certainly would not choose the name Cove for my baby, it ‘goes’ with their style doesn’t it, given the parents’ name and culture.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 24/08/2019 15:45

*parents’ names

daisypond · 24/08/2019 15:52

Hm, it’s like they don’t know the meaning of cove, apart from the seaside meaning. It’s not good.

posycosy5 · 24/08/2019 16:00

Ahhh ok. Blush
I’m actually pg with a boy anyway just kind of like... hormones maybe.

@BendydickCuminsnatch my thoughts exactly!

I used to know a boy called Cove when I was a teenager. I thought it was his surname for the longest time.

Pipandmum · 24/08/2019 18:04

Nope.

user1493494961 · 24/08/2019 18:27

Dreadful.

HeronLanyon · 24/08/2019 18:32

It a male word like chap very Wodehouse but not a girls name at all.
Clover ?

Frith2013 · 24/08/2019 18:34

Ahahaha!

Somewhere you’d store your fishing boat or coving that people with no taste put up around their living rooms.

Whoops75 · 24/08/2019 18:36

Awful

and coco is the same length so hardly a nn

NameChange84 · 24/08/2019 18:37

Poor child Hmm

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 24/08/2019 18:41

It’s a suburb of Aberdeen fgs

RaininSummer · 24/08/2019 18:55

Dreadful name. Daft having a nickname which is more syllables than the actual name too.

Figgygal · 24/08/2019 18:56

It's ridiculous

Figgygal · 24/08/2019 18:57

And a not very nice suburb of Aberdeen either
