DSIS asked me to post as she’s come over and wanted advice Grin

Lottie
Clio
Isobel
Margot
Cassia
Darcey
Eva/Evie
Frances
and she likes these as middle names:

Elizabeth
Charlotte
Frances
Freya

I think she’s leaning towards
Clio Elizabeth
Isobel Frances

But she also really likes Eva/Evie, Darcey and Margot and all the others really.

Can you critique her list please x

I picked Clio Isobel before I got to the last bit!

cinnamoned · 22/08/2019 15:48

@GreenTulips

That’s quite funny hahah

I like Cassia/Darcey Elizabeth.

Not keen on any of the others.

DramaAlpaca · 22/08/2019 15:50

I love both the ones she's leaning towards. I might use the spelling Cleo for preference.

Bumbags · 22/08/2019 17:00

Go with Cleo though as Clio is a car name.

Love Cleo Francesca.

emmyblake · 22/08/2019 18:04

Cassia is my favourite by far, makes it to my top 5 names.
Like Cleo too, spelt this way!

Louisasasa · 22/08/2019 18:12

Cleo spelled this way and not Clio like the car.
Isobel is lovely.
Margot is lovely.

Thymeout · 22/08/2019 23:10

Clio is one of the Muses in Greek mythology. Nothing to do with Cleopatra. It always sounds awkward to me to have a first name ending in a vowel next to a middle name starting with one. You end up with a 'w' in between. Clio Wisabel. Better to have a consonant. Clio Frances.

whattodo2019 · 22/08/2019 23:17

Clio is awful, I just think of a car

Love Eva

Margot reminds me of a mini dachshund

Tillygetsit · 23/08/2019 00:12

Cassia Frances gets my vote.

Nocturnalpearl · 23/08/2019 01:14

I love Cleo (spelt this way though as other way is a car), Margot and frances. My personal favourite is Frances. I think it's so beautiful and timeless.

QueenOfThePumpkins · 23/08/2019 06:48

My favourite three combinations are:
Isobel Charlotte
Isobel Frances
Frances Elizabeth

Horseshoe1 · 23/08/2019 07:33

Cleo Elizabeth is beautiful
Cassia Frances

Frith2013 · 23/08/2019 08:49

Lottie - ok
Clio - ok
Isobel - ok
Margot - good God, no
Cassia - prefer Cassie
Darcey - meh
Eva/Evie - too popular
Frances - nice

Frith2013 · 23/08/2019 08:51

From the list, I’d probably use Frances Charlotte. I’m not a big fan of Charlotte but I wouldn’t have 2 “F” names.

JollyGiraffe · 23/08/2019 08:51

Isobel Frances or Darcey Elizabeth

AverageMummy · 23/08/2019 09:14

Lottie - don’t like this as a full name
Clio - this reminds me of cars & clits
Isobel - nice
Margot - hate
Cassia - beautiful beautiful
Darcey - ok
Eva/Evie - don’t like
Frances - ok
and she likes these as middle names:

Cassia Frances is beautiful and elegant

Letthemysterybe · 23/08/2019 09:15

Cleo

hazandduck · 23/08/2019 09:19

Love Cleo (like others prefer this spelling) and Margot. Love another poster’s suggestion of Cleo Francesca! So pretty.

I think Eve/Evie/Eva has been done to death, I know so many little girls with these names.
