Arthur is everywhere now, as is Theo. William is classic with nn variables: Will, Billy, Liam...

Rainbowqueeen · 19/08/2019 21:35

Really like them all

No Theo’s where I live so I would pick that

fancytiles · 19/08/2019 21:39

Oh really? I don't know any Arthur's but do know Williams and Theos! I guess it depends which area :)
I don't mind tooooo much about it being common as long as not super common like Oliver...

I love them all!

I had similar names on my list but we went with Charlie x

fancytiles · 19/08/2019 21:42

@MrsGilly1 I love Charlie too! Best friends son is called that tho!

Congrats! I’m expecting a boy in December, too, and we’re naming him Arthur Smile

I don’t know any Arthurs in my area either, lots of Theos and a couple of Williams, though. All really lovely names!

Awrite · 19/08/2019 22:21

Theo

BikeRunSki · 19/08/2019 22:23

William, ageless

ButterflyOfFreedom · 20/08/2019 18:36

Theo

Arthur and Theo are my favourite!

I think I prefer Theo, I think it would suit him all through is life!

Sauvignonblanket · 20/08/2019 18:42

Theo

Theo

Haz1516 · 20/08/2019 18:50

I know loads of Theos where I live. I think I'd go with Arthur.

How about:
Edward
Gabriel
Joshua
Ezra
Jude

Cathyheathcliff · 20/08/2019 18:56

Arthur is my favourite. Also like Theodore with theo as a nickname. I'm Scottish so dislike William as its generally 'Wullie' here which makes me cringe

tararabumdeay · 20/08/2019 19:09

I've got a 30 year old with an unpopular name at the time and a 25 year old with an unpopular name at the time; can't move for either of 'em now. I even feel embarrassed that I picked such 'popular' names when they most definitely were not.

So, in the spirit of the undoubted trend setter I am...
Roland.

KindnessCrusader · 20/08/2019 20:12

Can't move for Arthurs here (South East), Theo is the least popular. I like William the most. Good luck with your baby boy! Thanks

Cookit · 20/08/2019 20:31

I love the name William. It’s timeless and has no particular class connotations.

sugarplumfairy28 · 20/08/2019 21:19

Arthur is dreadful, sorry. William inoffensive, 'solid' name. I like Theo but Theodore somehow seems pompous and stuck up.

Sophronia · 20/08/2019 21:23

William will date the least. Theo and Arthur are both very ‘now’

blahblahblahblahhh · 20/08/2019 22:49

Arthur! That was my choice of name for second child but I got a girl!

Disfordarkchocolate · 20/08/2019 22:51

William is by far my favourite. One of mine would have been William Henry (a very good 'telling off' name), but know as Wills by me. Theodore is next for me.

IckleBear · 21/08/2019 13:59

Theo

AverageMummy · 21/08/2019 22:27

I like them all but think William for me

Sparklysunflower · 21/08/2019 22:42

William is easily teased with Willy.

Theo is overused imo.

Arthur would therefore be my choice
