Gonna have a lot of pronunciation issues and I don't think it's a nice enough name. But that's just me!

If you like it, go for it...

Littlechocola · 15/08/2019 11:25

Feyre is a a fairy.
I like it.

Thegirlhasnoname · 15/08/2019 11:27

Feyre is the main character of a series of books I’ve read. Love the name but hate the character (very annoying main character) so go for it if you haven’t read the books!

MidnightVelvet9 · 15/08/2019 11:32

I like it but she's going to get called Fair a lot!

Kokeshi123 · 15/08/2019 11:32

Major pronunc and spelling issues, and it looks like a typo for "Freya."

thisnamechanger · 15/08/2019 11:32

Makes me think of Fyre festival!

PrincessSarene · 15/08/2019 11:32

Only came across this name recently in a series of books. Took a while for me to get used to it and I agree that you’ll have pronunciation issues with it, and you might get interesting spellings from people that have only heard the name. But then so do I, and I have much more common name than Feyre. I just try and be patient with people if they get it wrong, and some of the attempts can be quite amusing, and I get quite impressed if my name gets spelled/pronounced correctly Smile

As already said, if you like it, go for it.

happycamper11 · 15/08/2019 11:36

Looks like a quirky spelling of fair to me.. she'll get that all her life

M0RVEN · 15/08/2019 11:37

Nope, use Freya instead.

pikapikachu · 15/08/2019 11:44

I'm English and would assume that the name sounds like Fire. Eye= 👁 . Fire is a good name for a superhero rather than a child. I think you'd also have people mistake it for the more popular Freya.

Faye is a good name.

pikapikachu · 15/08/2019 11:45

Just seen it's not eye in the middle. I still see Fire sorry.

Apolloanddaphne · 15/08/2019 11:52

I would pronounce that Fair. Looks like a misspelling of fayre

Ivysaurus · 15/08/2019 11:59

Pronounced like Vera with an F? Never heard of it and not keen, will have pronunciation and spelling problems evrrytime you/she gives her name

marmitelover84 · 15/08/2019 14:14

@Thegirlhasnoname @PrincessSarene a court of thorns and roses by any chance?

Reminds me of the German word for Fire - Feuer

Frith2013 · 15/08/2019 14:19

Like Phaedra if you have a speech impediment.

Awful.

user1493494961 · 15/08/2019 14:20

Awful.

AllyBamma · 15/08/2019 14:21

Lovely!

NoSauce · 15/08/2019 14:24

Farah?

diddlediddle · 15/08/2019 16:08

No way. No one will be able to pronounce it. Also, it's not a nice name.

Faye, Freya?

AmyCorn · 15/08/2019 16:11

I've heard of the name Freya which I think is a Nordic name for a queen. Both lovely name ideas though.

strawberrypenguin · 15/08/2019 16:14

Sorry, I wouldn't know how to pronounce it.

AverageMummy · 15/08/2019 16:16

Looks like Freya misspelled

MindyStClaire · 15/08/2019 16:32

Makes me think of a Summer Fayre.

TheYeaSayer · 15/08/2019 17:30

Don't like it, sorry.
