There was that tv prog years ago with Jessica Simpson and her then husband nick, but other than that nothing, 2 normal names.

Thanks everyone, my sister is considering Nicholas if DC2 Is a boy and was curious to see if people thought of the characters from the sitcom New Girl.

Never heard of New Girl and they are both decent, normal names so no problem.

I don’t think the New Girl connection is a problem. I wouldn’t name siblings Ross and Rachel but Nick and Jess don’t have anything like the same name recognition.

I've seen new girl and didn't immediately think of it. Don't think its had the staying power of friends so cant see it being a problem especially in a few years.
