Boy name help!

My husband and I love the name Maren for a girl (MAH-ren) as we have Danish, Norwegian, Welsh, and German heritage. We would like to find a boy name that isn't too common but isn't too crazy either! We have discussed names like Anders, Soren, Frederick, etc, but I am not sure about any of those. I would like something strong yet soft. Last name rhymes with Finn. Any thoughts welcome!

Taran (TAH-ran) is the welsh for thunder, i have a friend with a son called this and i love it.
I also like Macsen, Macs (Max) works well as a short version.

My son's friend is a Iestyn. Love it.

Torin is also great, Taran is a bit too close to Tarzan to my ear.

Maren is beautiful, btw.

Good list! I like Lars and Nils, but am slightly nervous about starting a Scandinavian "theme" with my kids. Maybe others won't think that? Not sure @TheVanguardSix

Soren is gorgeous. If I had another boy he would either be Soren, Elijah or Micah. Or Soren Micah Elijah! Lol
