Hazel?

I've always loved the name but completely forgot about it for a while. I'm expecting boy and girl twins and we've been struggling with names. I keep going off names after a while but I've liked Hazel years I just can't think of a boys name too. What would go nicely with Hazel?

hazel is lovely. what about Coben (nn Coby) or Callum for a boy?

congratulations!

Antonin · 12/08/2019 14:04

Aren’t Hazel nuts called cob nuts? Please avoid any Coby names for the boy for fear they’d be known as the nutty twins.

Hazel is gorgeous.
Dont know why but Adam sprang to mind.

Mysteriously · 12/08/2019 23:12

Thank you for the suggestions I'm liking Rowan, Sebastian, Elijah, Reuben.
One thing I've noticed, I already have DS called Nathaniel and that ends similarly to Hazel, would it sound a bit odd to have two names that kind of "go together" and then DS2 having a more different name? Or am I over thinking it? DS is usually known as Nate anyway so not too much of a problem

Definitely over thinking it OP, as you said yourself! Sebastian is my favourite from your shortlist abov e.

Constance1234 · 14/08/2019 07:19

I was going to suggest Hazel and Rowan, but I see I have been beaten to it! Congratulations on your twins :)

AverageMummy · 15/08/2019 17:18

Hazel is really lovely and nothing like Nathaniel
Not keen on making twins matchy - they spend a lot of time as a pair it’s nice to let them be individuals
Suggestions:
Adam jumped out at me
Ralph (love that they’d all have a different no of syllables)
James
Lucas
