Is it totally rediculous?

I love it, especially with having craftsman heritage throughout our family

I actually really like it!

DramaAlpaca · 08/08/2019 22:18

It's the name of a book publisher to me. I'm not keen on it for a first name, but it's not awful.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/08/2019 22:19

I know of a girl called Faber, so to me it’s feminine.

EssentialHummus · 08/08/2019 22:20

I’d assume they had a sibling called Faber too.

Chocolatedaim · 08/08/2019 22:20

It sounds like someone with a lisp trying to say Frasier...

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/08/2019 22:20
Grin
rugshade · 08/08/2019 22:21

Gorgeous.

ParmaViolet44 · 08/08/2019 22:30

Haven't heard it before but I love it actually!

doodlejump1980 · 08/08/2019 22:34

Name of a Music publisher for me

PolkaDotted · 08/08/2019 22:38

It's awful

Sophronia · 08/08/2019 22:38

Would you pronounce it fah-ber or fay-ber?

Signifyingnothing · 08/08/2019 22:38

Love it too! And I used to work in publishing.

SirVixofVixHall · 08/08/2019 22:39

Like the pencils ? Um..why ?

Frith2013 · 08/08/2019 22:40

Presumably you’ll have another child also called Faber...

AntonsMumsTeeth · 08/08/2019 22:40

Yep. It's ridiculous.

Tillygetsit · 08/08/2019 22:43

A bit daft tbh. Sorry.

lottiegarbanzo · 08/08/2019 22:44

Middle name 'and'?

Faye, Fabian, yes.

Faber sounds short for something, incomplete.

Yourostar · 08/08/2019 22:49

EssentialHummus Grin

daisypond · 09/08/2019 08:47

I think publisher too, but it could be ok.

Equatoria · 09/08/2019 10:03
  1. Publisher
  2. Sounds like the German surname Weber
OtraCosaMariposa · 09/08/2019 10:27

Don't they make pencils too?

bebeboeuf · 09/08/2019 10:31

Yes pencils Smile

MikeUniformMike · 09/08/2019 10:59

Isn't it just Smith or something?

Antonin · 11/08/2019 23:25

Actually, I don’t see anything wrong with it. Just another surname type given name and not as hackneyed as Harrison, Taylor, Tyler etc.
