I don’t know if it’s just a thing for the letter E, but I love Elsie and Ettie! Currently expecting DD1 and have Eden on our list so far but DH. isn’t keen as his cousin named her daughter the same 🙄 good luck, you’ve got some great name choices

Ettie is my favourite of your list. Although probably prefer Etta with Ettie as a NN?

SmartPlay · 08/08/2019 07:33

I like Bella and Alessia. Sienna and Eden is okay, the other two I find horrible.

MrsBertBibby · 08/08/2019 08:00

I really dislike Eden, it sounds a bit of a glamour model name to me.

Elsie's the best of the bunch, but I would use it as a nick name for Elspeth or similar, rather than the name on the birth certificate.

Pineapplefish · 08/08/2019 08:02

I like Ettie best from your list. Maybe as a nickname for Esther or Elizabeth?

Sienna is my second favourite.

Congratulations :-)

Alessia by a country mile. Really lovely.

Alessia is my favourite.
Elsie is dreary and downmarket.
Ettie is twee and not a name, though ok if short for something.
Eden is OK.
Bella is OK.
Sienna is OK.

OhMyDarling · 08/08/2019 08:44

Ettie or Etta
Love these!

Alessia - too many variations. Alicia, Elisha etc
Ettie - no
Elsie - ok
Eden - meh
Bella - no, makes me think of a chubby middle aged woman
Sienna - no

Lilyannarose · 08/08/2019 10:37

Alessia - Pretty. I've seen it spelt Elessia. Might get confused with Alissia which has lots of different spellings.

Ettie - I can't think of it as a stand alone name. Would assume it was short for Henrietta, Colette etc. I like Etta though.

Elsie - I like this. Seems to be quite popular at the moment.

Eden - I quite like. I know a few.

Bella - Pretty, but again would have a longer name on birth certificate. Isabella, Annabella or Arabella. Having said that it does seem to be becoming popular as a stand alone name.

Sienna - Love this but know so many. Probably my favourite from your list.

Star801 · 08/08/2019 10:51

I like Ettie. I love Etta more though.

Alessia is the nicest
