Whoever said upthread about the perfume being pronounced an-ay an-ay is wrong.
People seem to get confused by school French and as soon as they see ais they think ay.
I am old enough to remember the advert on tv.

This just gets funnier and weirder.

Agree with previous posters that Anay is a mistake, made by ignoring or misunderstanding how the pronunciation is affected by the ï.
