We have one in the family - he's an absolutely delightful child - clever, well mannered, funny. Probably outing but best boss I ever had was a Rowan (male).

I've only known girls that have used the 'Rowan' spelling. I know boys as 'Rohan'. Nice name.

Good choice. Rowan Williams and Rowan Atkinson, surely the most famous Rowans, are both male. Rohan is a different name.
