Love both, but Charlotte has a slight edge over Grace for me. Charlotte as a first and Grace as a second works very well. Lovely names!

Pineapplefish · 28/07/2019 15:58

Grace

Aquamarine1029 · 28/07/2019 15:59

I love both of those names, but personally I think they are far too overused now. There are legions of them out there.

MondeoFan · 28/07/2019 16:06

I'm so bored of both these names now especially Grace. I swear there's like 50 Grace's in the school.
I'd be inclined to pick Charlotte and call her Charlie.

Notthebradybunch · 28/07/2019 16:14

Grace, definitely.

bridgetreilly · 28/07/2019 17:50

Charlotte.

MsSquiz · 28/07/2019 17:58

Charlotte Grace is one of our top names for dd when she is born, so what about having both?

If not, I definitely prefer Charlotte as a first name, over Grace

AverageMummy · 28/07/2019 18:09

Charlotte is a beautiful classic - not keen on grace

Peachbubble · 28/07/2019 18:09

Charlotte

ritzbiscuits · 28/07/2019 18:11

Charlotte definitely. Grace was really popular a while back and everywhere!

Sunshine1239 · 28/07/2019 18:12

Like both but very boring if I’m honest

There’s hundreds of them!

daisypond · 28/07/2019 18:17

Grace is lovely and much better as a first name than a middle name. I don’t like Charlotte at all.

Longdistance · 28/07/2019 18:20

Those names were on our list. I preferred Grace, but our surname begins with a Gr so we couldn’t use it. We went for Eleanor instead.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 28/07/2019 18:20

Both - Charlotte Grace. If you make me choose just one, it would br Charlotte.

user1493494961 · 28/07/2019 18:31

Grace.

17caterpillars1mouse · 28/07/2019 20:36

Grace

Astronica · 29/07/2019 00:31

Both good names but I prefer Grace.

barryfromclareisfit · 29/07/2019 00:33

Yes! Call your child Charlotte or Grace! Fabulous. Someone with taste on MN.

Frith2013 · 29/07/2019 00:36

Both rather timid names.

puppymouse · 29/07/2019 00:45

I'm biased but get lots of compliments on my Grace and not that many around actually which surprised me.

DramaAlpaca · 29/07/2019 00:48

Charlotte, nn Lottie.

I don't like the 'gr' sound in Grace, or the way it looks written down. The meaning, of course, is lovely.

Botanica · 29/07/2019 04:59

Have always loved Charlotte, despite its ongoing popularity.

Grace works well with it as a middle name.

(Although carrying on a themed from another name thread, reminds me of Charlotte Grey, no bad thing :)

Sophronia · 29/07/2019 13:01

My cousin has a Charlotte Grace.

Both are nice but I prefer Grace as a first name.

sue51 · 29/07/2019 13:04

Both are lovely. Grace has the edge over Charlotte for me
