I'm due a little girl tomorrow and I just cant decide between these two names.

Which is your favourite?

Middle name options opinions also welcome

So far I have

Ria Jasmine (surname)

Rosa Jasmine(surname)

Rosa Rita (surname)(rita is both deceased grandmothers name poss like to use it somewhere if dony go with ria)

Rosa jasmine rita ...(surname)

Rosa Bella (surname)

Not too bothered really about middle names as how often do you really refer to them but I'm really struggling to decide on Rosa or Ria.
Ria is a little different which I like but then Rosa although more popular is more classic.

Please help!

Rosa - lovely name. Ria - I would worry they could go through school being called diarrhoea. Some kids can be mean.

daisypond · 28/07/2019 07:25

Rosa

Changedname81 · 28/07/2019 08:45

Ria - rear to my ears

Rosa lovely, plus a kick ass namesake (Parks)

HiItsClemFandango · 28/07/2019 08:47

Rosa Bella surname or Rosa Jasmine surname

Also like Rosa May surname and Rosa Lily surname

Bezalelle · 28/07/2019 08:55

Ria Jasmine is gorgeous.

bridgetreilly · 28/07/2019 09:15

I think Ria is usually a nickname for Maria.

Maria Jasmine would be lovely.

helpmum2003 · 28/07/2019 09:21

Definitely Rosa, beautiful classic name. I find Ria a bit chavvy, sorry, but also like the idea of Maria NN Ria.

You could go for Rita as second middle name. Middle names don't really matter but it's nice to have one they could use when older if don't like first name.

miamiibiza · 28/07/2019 09:37

How about Rita as a first name? I think it's a beautiful name.
Good luck for tomorrow

Icklepup · 28/07/2019 09:47

Rosa Rita

AverageMummy · 28/07/2019 10:09

Love love love Rosa
Rosa Bella sounds like Rosabel which is already a name so I’d go Rosa Jasmine
I prefer the spelling of Rhea - also a lovely name but for me Rosa is just wonderful

You could use an unusual longer variation if you wanted Rita in there - Rosa Aurita for example sounds lovely

AverageMummy · 28/07/2019 10:11

Oh and there is also Marguerita - would work as a lovely first name with Rita as a nickname or perfectly after Rosa: Rosa Marguerita

AverageMummy · 28/07/2019 10:13

I know posters have mentioned Maria, but Ria also works nicely as a nickname for Allegria and Alexandria

Pineapplefish · 28/07/2019 10:15

Rosa is lovely

Ellmau · 28/07/2019 10:23

Rosa Jasmine is lovely.

Ria sounds like it’s short for Maria. Rosa Bella sounds like onename.

simplekindoflife · 28/07/2019 10:28

Rosa by miles!!

Ria sounds like it's short for something, like something's missing...

The middle name is hardly used so go with what you like. Rosa Rita and Rosa Ria both work fine. Rosa Bella is lovely though.

ChubbyMummy12 · 28/07/2019 10:36

I love Ria/Rhea/Rhia, very pretty and not as popular as Name alike Mia and Tia.

Rosa is very pretty too

rachelgrace · 28/07/2019 10:45

Rosa by far

user1493494961 · 28/07/2019 10:50

I don't think Rosa Rita works, it sounds like one name.

Frith2013 · 28/07/2019 10:52

Rosa is fine.

Ria as in rear end? No.

finallychangedmyusername · 28/07/2019 18:51

Rosa Jasmine Rita is lovely.

SemperIdem · 28/07/2019 19:03

Rosa.

I don’t like how Ria sounds like “rear” in some accents.

PrincessLouis · 28/07/2019 20:21

Rosa Jasmine Rita

Ria is a bit of a made up name to me. Agree diarrhoea is a risk as is Ria (rear) of the year etc

Shadow1234 · 28/07/2019 20:22

Rosa definitely

AuntieStella · 28/07/2019 20:26

Rosa Jasmine Rita

Not Ria (too like 'rear')

MissMoodyMoo · 28/07/2019 20:35

Rosa rita sounds a tad like a modern made up cocktail
