What sounds better, Felicity or Fiona? Middle name would be Mary. Or should we do something like Felicity Fiona Mary?

I prefer Felicity

Bubbletrouble43 · 27/07/2019 22:21

Felicity is lovely. Fiona is also nice, and I think they work nicely together

Starrynights86 · 27/07/2019 22:21

I like felicity (Fiona is still nice though) and think felicity Fiona Mary sounds lovely.

OliviaPopeRules · 27/07/2019 22:35

Fiona definitely, much less common (in terms of number of people with the name)

bridgetreilly · 27/07/2019 22:41

I like both but prefer Felicity, not least because of the meaning.

gracepoolesrum · 27/07/2019 22:43

Like both but prefer Fiona

Josiefuzz · 27/07/2019 22:49

Felicity.

JanewaysBun · 27/07/2019 22:54

Felicity!

tabbiemoo · 27/07/2019 22:55

Felicity much nicer - Fiona is such a dull name

StarJumpsandaHalf · 27/07/2019 22:58

I like Felicity but prefer Ffion to Fiona.

Showergel1 · 27/07/2019 22:59

Thanks tabby!

I don't like my name tbf.
Fiona Mary flows better but sounds older than Felicity Mary.
So Felicity Fiona Mary could be a compromise.

GenerationYmember · 27/07/2019 23:01

Felicity is lovely.

Fiona seems a tad dated.

CrumbsThatsQuick · 27/07/2019 23:02

Combine the two...

Felicia Mary

Sophronia · 27/07/2019 23:31

Fiona Mary

SummerSeasoning · 27/07/2019 23:32

Felicity

NoSauce · 27/07/2019 23:35

Felicity is gorgeous. Fiona is very 70s to me.

EmmaC78 · 27/07/2019 23:37

I like both but prefer Felicity.

ExpeditionEverest · 27/07/2019 23:39

Both dated, but Felicity is marginally better.

MyDcAreMarvel · 27/07/2019 23:45

Fiona if you are giving birth to a forty year old. Otherwise Felicity.

anon812 · 27/07/2019 23:47

They are both nice and go with Mary (sorry, super useful there..)

Tillygetsit · 28/07/2019 00:20

Felicity is a bit frilly for my taste so I'd have Fiona Mary with Felicity in the middle if you must!

Linnet · 28/07/2019 00:36

I like Felicity. Saying that I have a couple of good friends called Fiona which I do think is a lovely name, but if it was me I’d go with Felicity.

IVflytrap · 28/07/2019 00:47

I prefer Fiona, but think if you want to use two middle names, go for it. Felicity Mary Fiona or Fiona Mary Felicity could be options, to avoid that repeated f sound?

Shadow1234 · 28/07/2019 01:14

Felicity

DramaAlpaca · 28/07/2019 01:30

I like both. I'd go for Fiona Felicity Mary as I like the repeated f sound.
