Hello

First name for baby will be John. After my partners Grandad and is also my Dads middle name. We originally were going to have James as the middle name as that is my partners Dads name but then everyone is already saying JJ which we hate!

Votes please:
Christopher (my Dads name)
Kenneth (my Grandads name)
Aaron (my twin brothers name)

John Christopher is the nicest sounding, but John Aaron is also nice. John Kenneth isn't nice (sorry) and he will get JK.

John Kenneth

Aaron would be a nice nod to your twin brother, seeing as you are already using your dads middle name and partners grandads name.

John Aaron

I have a Joseph John, and was determined he wouldn't be a JJ. Only one relative ever called him that, and they got the hint after a while. He's never been called JJ by his friends either, and is all grown up now. You can never completely control it, as names evolve, but I think most people will take their cue from the parents.

Rivkka · 25/07/2019 17:19

John Christopher with possibly get JC, is that okay with you?

If not I'd go for Aaron. Not Kenneth

gracepoolesrum · 25/07/2019 17:34

John Kenneth. Nice classic sound, I think Kenneth is due a comeback.

MikeUniformMike · 25/07/2019 18:03

I like the name John. Good choice unless your surname is Thomas.
Not keen on Kenneth sorry so would go with Christopher.
Aaron is ok too.
What does each one sound like as John Middlename Surname?

Sophronia · 25/07/2019 20:09

All are nice but I think I like John Christopher best.

Fatkins · 25/07/2019 20:16

John is my top boy name if we ever have another baby btw. Love it.

FizzBuzzBangWoof · 25/07/2019 20:18

John Christopher

I'd go Aaron as if people are already saying JJ you'll probably get JC or JK with the other options

Tillygetsit · 27/07/2019 00:22

John Aaron. Great strong name.

Boyceey · 27/07/2019 14:51

Just going to jump in that John Arran (spelled Arryn) though is a character on Game of Thrones - not one of the best either as he was portrayed as frail and not quite of sound mind... maybe just one to mull over if that would mean anything to you.

DramaAlpaca · 27/07/2019 14:52

I thought the same, Boyceey.

Owlbert · 27/07/2019 18:11

It might jist be me but I always feel a little sorry for babies that are fully named after others, it's like they don't have their own 'identity'. Maybe keep one name and give him another name that is his only.
