And not much closer to naming DD2. This is our last push for opinions before our little bean arrives.

Here’s our list w/ middle name options...

Beatrice Aurora Niamh
Beatrice Flora Niamh
Beatrice Mabel Niamh
Beatrice Orlaith Fleur

Beatrix Aurora Niamh
Beatrix Flora Niamh
Beatrix Mabel Niamh
Beatrix Orlaith Fleur

Evangeline Orlaith Bea
Evangeline Orlaith Fleur

Florence Aurora Niamh
Florence Beatrix Niamh
Florence Lucia Niamh

We’re not sure if the Evangeline combos flow? We want to include an Irish name however as I, and my side of the family, are Irish. I didn’t want to use Evangeline and Niamh together however.

I know 2 middle names aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but our eldest daughter, Violet has two which hold significant meaning to us. The boy’s name we’ve had picked out for both pregnancies also would include 2 (both with significant meaning) so we don’t want to do it for 1 or 2 and not the other/s. We’ve chosen names with some meaning to us this time round too.

TIA!

Beatrice Flora

Not a combo you’ve listed, but Beatrice Florence is lovely

Jessi88 · 22/07/2019 18:22

@99bb One we’ve considered but I’m trying to keep the length down as much as possible with two middle names.

Beatrix is my favourite first name from your list, and it goes beautifully with Violet. Beatrix Flora Niamh is lovely.

The first Evangeline one.

Florence Lucia Niamh, goes very nicely with Violet.

Beatrice flora niamh, all gorgeous names and this has a lovely flow to it. Beatrice can be bea, Beattie, bessie etc. Love it.

HellYeah90s · 23/07/2019 09:22

Evangeline gets my vote.

Although my favourite name is Niamh on that list.

I can't say I am wild about the rest, especially Beatrice.

Jessi88 · 24/07/2019 07:50

Florence seems to be the favourite so far. Thanks everyone, for the feedback.

I think Evangeline has a slightly different feel to it to the others on our list but we love it. My DH suggested Evelyn but it doesn’t have the same sparkle to me. I do think Evangeline Flora is lovely but Niamh would be too much to use with it.

Florence Aurora Niamh or Beatrice Mabel Niamh! Both lovely.

I'm not mad on Beatrix, which I find harsh nor Evangeline, which I find a bit OTT. None of them is dreadful though.

LarkDescending · 24/07/2019 09:42

Florence Lucia Niamh or (tweaking) Evangeline Flora Niamh.

Jessi88 · 24/07/2019 19:08

I feel like Evangeline and Niamh would be too repetitive together? They both share an EV sound. I agree that Flora or Mabel flow better than Orlaith though.

I do also understand the OTT comment with Evangeline as it’s a longer name. Which is why I wanted to keep the middle names short really (well I do anyway with giving her two as well)

My favourite from your list is Florence Aurora Niamh.

But if it was up to me I'd go for Evangeline Aurora Niamh, or Evangeline Flora Niamh. I think both are just beautiful.

PotatoCity · 24/07/2019 20:48

I like Beatrice Aurora Niamh or Beatrice Flora Niamh best.

BettyBe · 24/07/2019 20:53

Beatrice Flora Niamh

AverageMummy · 24/07/2019 21:01

Beatrix and Beatrice for me I think

Beatrix Flora Niamh (can’t actually remember I’ve picked one of your combos correctly)

AverageMummy · 24/07/2019 21:03

I think a really short middle name would be beautiful though:
Beatrix Orlaith Jane
Beatrix Ada Niamh
