Help! Baby number 3 coming any day and nameless

Expecting baby number 3 imminently. Already have 2 girls called Cora and Alice, this one is a boy. Really struggling with a name! The middle name will be Ross. I like Max, Tom, Harry and Louis which DH has vetoed. He likes Ollie (but not Oliver), Charlie and Jamie. I am not keen with nicknames as main names (except Tom weirdly). Any suggestions? Names ending in -y don't work very well with our surname.

Love your daughters names. I do think Max would go well, shame your DH doesn’t like it.

Ross is lovely, why not use it as the first name?

BalletTapNModern · 21/07/2019 21:36

Needs to be a 2 or 3 syllable name IMO because two short names don’t go together.

@BalletTapNModern good point about the two syllables- I agree. There are several here worthy of consideration- thanks. Ross won't be the first name as it's a family tradition to include it as a middle name. I was having contractions earlier so this all felt very urgent but they have stopped so I can relax a bit! Don't panic OP, you have up to six weeks after the birth to name him. A friend of mine didn't name any of hers until she saw them and choose a name that they"looked like"!
