Day dreaming of baby names to go with surname Rose

I'm not pregnant but thinking about trying maybe next year.

Having a bit of a day dream about names and I'm struggling for boy names. I like Rory and Rowan but our surname is Rose and I feel like the two Rs are a bit odd sounding together?? Also quite like Ellis.

Any other suggestions? Also open to girl suggestions that don't sound like an air freshener with the Rose surname

Rose is a great surname. But for a boy I think I would try for a first name that has some harder sounds in it. Rowan and Rory are too soft, leaving aside the R issue. Ellis is quite unisex these days and too soft. Isaac is better because of the Z sound. Magnus? Alexander? Marcus?

I like Alexander but is it maybe too popular? Same with Theodore, love it (and Theo/Ted) but there are lots around which puts me off a bit.
