Name Dexter's brother!

I need inspiration please!

I'm due another little boy in November and I feel like we found the perfect name for big brother Dexter, it suits him perfectly and I love all the nicknames he can have.

I don't like any of the other names we had on our shortlist for Dexter anymore and the only name that I'm currently contemplating is Rafael (DP likes this too), but I'm not 100% convinced..

I like that the name Dexter is easy to spell, pronounce and is an actual name but is not too popular and quite a 'cool' name (I cringe to admit that ha). I personally don't like surname names or animal names like Fox etc and DP vetos anything slightly 'posh' . I'd love a name that works well for a little boy as well as a grown up.

Actually Ellis was on my shortlist last time and I still love that one, so thank you @Loveislandaddict that's made it back on!

Can't do Leon or Leo as my name is very very similar (but female version obvs) but I do really like both those names.

Not keen on the Cooper/jaxon/Jayden type names at all I'm afraid. Too surnamey/made up to my ear.

But I am liking Otis, Felix (May be too "posh" for DP though..) and Stanley too so thank you for those.

Buboo is a great suggestion however so maybe I'll go with that

Dexter himself has christened new baby 'Castle' so I guess there's that too...

Oh and my neighbours dog is called Rudy so that name is kind of tarnished for me annoyingly as I do like it.

Rafi/Rafa would deffo be Rafael's nicknames I think Fartniss (lols), though I do quite like Raif (May be spelling it wrong!) as a stand alone name too.

Dexter has a little buddy called Zachariah already but I love that name and Zak as a nn.
