So after all the Jacob posts nothing felt right..... The names just didnt feel right. And today I was reading about Jacob in the bible and it just put me off in all honestly.
We came across a name and it just feels right. The name is JENSON.
Middle name yet to be decided.
What do you all think?
Girls name is set 100% at Sofia Matilda. Sibling is Noah.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Big thumbs up for me for Jenson. In my opinion I much prefer it to Jacob.

Ginger1982 · 07/07/2019 18:53

Jacob goes better with Noah. Jenson wouldn't be my choice.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/07/2019 18:54

I've just saw on your other thread that you like Ruben. Reuben (Ruben) is gorgeous.

ivartheboneless · 07/07/2019 18:54

I love the name Jenson 🥰

Bagadverts · 07/07/2019 18:57

I don’t like Jenson much, prefer Jacob. However if you have both found “the one” stop asking anyone else what they think.

MikeUniformMike · 07/07/2019 18:59

Jenson will be Jens. It's a bit downmarket.

WouldHAVEcouldHAVEshouldHAVE · 07/07/2019 18:59

How about a mash of the two- Jason!

CassianAndor · 07/07/2019 18:59

Jenson Button
Jenson Ackles

I like it!

ZenNudist · 07/07/2019 19:04

prefer Jacob. Goes better with Noah.

Jenson seems chavvy (unpopular term on mumsnet). Up there with Jayden.

How about Jonah? (Biblical J name), or James nn Jim.

Matilda Sofia lovely.

AriadneCrete · 07/07/2019 19:04

Jacob is the better of the two and goes much better with Noah. I’m not a fan of Jenson.

ZenNudist · 07/07/2019 19:04

Or Isaac?

girlandboy · 07/07/2019 19:06

I quite like Jenson.

But the first thing I did think was "Jenson Interceptor"

Kel801 · 07/07/2019 19:06

Jenson would be considered very council estatey round here. It sounds tacky as hell

girlandboy · 07/07/2019 19:07

But I very much doubt that "Interceptor is your surname Grin

WisestIsShe · 07/07/2019 19:10

I think if you know you love it then that's all that matters. (I like it too though)

EdWinchester · 07/07/2019 19:15

Jenson is a 'Kai/Kayden' type name. ie chavvy.

Jacob infinitely preferable.

lilpumpsmum · 07/07/2019 19:15

I quite like Jenson. Used to work with a Janson....

Fortheloveofscience · 07/07/2019 19:17

If I met someone with sons called Jacob and Noah I’d assume they were deeply religious. IMO Jacob and something contemporary gives a better balance...

Fortheloveofscience · 07/07/2019 19:17

Sorry - Noah and something contemporary - not suggesting you rename DS1!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 07/07/2019 19:19

Jacob goes better with Noah, I don’t really “get” Jenson tbh

Nesssie · 07/07/2019 19:21

Agree that Jacob and Noah are too biblical.
Jenson is lovely.

AuntieStella · 07/07/2019 19:21

It wouldn't be my choice of name, but there's nothing whatsoever wrong with Jensen, and as it's clearly your sort of name, go for it.

(Unless your name is Jennifer, because that wouid be matchy in a wring sort of way)

fedup21 · 07/07/2019 19:22

Jenson is truly awful, sorry. It’s up there with Hayden/Jayden/Kayden for me.

TrickyKid · 07/07/2019 19:26

Jacob is lovely and a timeless name. I don't like Jenson at all.

ArnoldBee · 07/07/2019 19:26

Our DS middle name is Jacob as I decided it worked better as a middle name.
