Triplets - no names

littlebitstressed · 04/07/2019 19:06

Hi, I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant with triplets (we we're not planning any more children let alone three). Two of the babies are identical and we know at least one is a boy (we want the genders to be a surprise but had to find out if one was a boy to save my son the trauma of suddenly having three more sisters for a total of 7!). Anyway, I am high risk and have been told they could come as early as 30 weeks and even though since the beginning of my pregnancy we have had a chalkboard in the kitchen everyone is writing name ideas on we are getting nowhere with names. Any name suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Our current children are:
-Isabella and Emily (9)
-Charlie (6)
-Eilidh (5) (pronounces ay-lee)
-My husband has a daughter from a previous marriage Louise (17)
-We also have a daughter called Rosie Jade who died a few years ago so we would love to somehow incorporate her name in the triplets names.

Thank you once again for any suggestions!! As you can see we like both common and unusual names.

Wow that is a surprise! Can I ask if you’d like a theme or connection to run through the triplets names or not?

littlebitstressed · 04/07/2019 19:16

Champy87 We aren't really bothered, it would be nice if we could but I don't want to run the risk of them being too matchy as they get older and are finding their own individual identities.

AverageMummy · 04/07/2019 20:07

Rosalind feels like it might be a nice mix of Rosie Jade for a middle name perhaps?

AverageMummy · 04/07/2019 20:08

Maybe Jed as a boy’s middle name

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 04/07/2019 20:15

These aren't usually names I'd suggest, but I've just thought on.
How about Jayden-Ross (Similar to Rosie-Jade.

elliandher5 · 04/07/2019 20:34

Snowy81 · 04/07/2019 21:27

You could if you wanted to stretch it, incorporate Rosie Jade’s name into your sons as well as your daughters, with something like Jayden Rosevelt, Jay, Ross etc x

Ellmau · 04/07/2019 22:00

Octavia or Octavian for the youngest, as, they will be your eighth child’s including Rosie Jade. Tavi is nice for short.

Rosemary is a nice Rose name, plus has a meaning relating to remembrance.

Aurora.

Tillygetsit · 04/07/2019 23:28

Wow good luck OP!
How about Rowan John for a boy? ( same initials as Rosie Jade and Blue John is a gorgeous stone)
For girls maybe Susannah and Cassia? Bit biased they're my dds names 😂

RJnomore1 · 05/07/2019 05:42

What about Josie for Rosie Jade?

Zoflorabore · 05/07/2019 05:51

If I had triplets now I would call them-

Scenario 1- 1 boy 2 girls
Oscar, Avery and Astrid

Scenario 2- 1 girl 2 boys
Avery, Oscar and Caleb

Scenario 3- 3 boys
Oscar, Caleb and Oliver

Middle name for girls would be Rose/Rosa/Rosie and boys would be Jayden/Jaden to honour their big sister.

Massive congrats op Flowers
