Top 50 names...

When people talk about the top 10/50/100 names, where do you find these? I've googled but all the websites have different lists so I'm not sure which names are actually the most popular... Really hugely struggling with boys names because I don't want anything too popular (but also want a real name which hopefully wont date badly) so thought I'd look outside the top 50 but cant seem to find an obviously correct list.

From the ONS gov website (sorry won't let me post link but google it). They publish a list of the most popular girls and boys names for the previous year every Sept/Oct.

There's a site that lets you check the popularity of a name in your area. The top 50 names might not reflect your local area - for example, if you are in Wales, Northern Ireland or Scotland, a Welsh, Irish or Scottish name might be very popular but not in the top 100 UK names.

There’s a site called something like names darkgreener that lets you search a name & it gives you the % as well as the place
