No I think Lilyana and Ariella’s mum is Jodie, or possibly Katy. Otherwise @Iliterallycantthinkofanythingq hit the nail pretty much bang on the head!

Xavier has a different feel to me. I’m picturing a leafy village primary or private secondary school, sporty family who ski and shop exclusively at Waitrose. I’d expect his sisters to be Lucinda and Arabella.

This is such a good post idea @Babynameseek! I hope nothing I’ve said has offended you, you sound like a good sport! I want to do the reverse thread now too Grin

Babynameseek · 29/06/2019 21:39

Arabella is on my list!!!

Not at all AnonymousP except now you need to name me and the twins.

^Working class sahm with a complex child, never wears make up, wears leggings and dresses cos I'm fat. Love ballet, opera, theatre and reading. Love Sci fi and fantasy^

Your name is Samantha or Zoe. How about Juliet? Darcy Wink? Margot? Anna (love that name, simple, classic)? Yolanda? Lucia? Eleanor?

I think you like 'exotic' names, which is why I suggested Marisa (it's not that special. You don't need to 'carry it off'. Xavier is pretty posh and unusual if you ask me). Just not Mia or Maya! How about Amalia? I know 3 all from very different countries/ heritage, so it's a citizen of the world name, I think.

I have twins too. It's fun and crazy! Good luck. How long to go?

Fatkins · 29/06/2019 21:47

I have no idea what your family are like but can I guess your name?

Lucy or Nicola?

I love the name Xavier. Love the suggestions of Anna and Margot. I think they would go wonderfully with Xavier.

MerryMarigold · 29/06/2019 21:47

Helena goes with Xavier.

Just starting, just had 12 week scan. One placenta, two sacs so petrified of ttts. How old are yours?

I guess my name is along the Samantha / Lucy / Nicola line

Oh, identicals! Wow! Mine are non I'd. There 10 now! I had names sorted till about 32 weeks when I went off the names (flag I did, I really hate those names I seriously considered). Named them after they were born. Took a while for my son. He was over a week old. Boys names are harder and he was very ill when he was born so felt I needed something really special.

MerryMarigold · 29/06/2019 21:53

Sorry, too many typos in that post. Hope you got it.

Babynameseek · 29/06/2019 21:57

Yes, I get that. First born was very poorly, I was always glad I picked a name that when a nurse or doctor said it, then knew which child they meant. Even when we returned a year later to PICU for another operation, the doctor we'd had at birth was liek "I only know one Xavier, surely its not him!" lol

Hope your son is doing OK?

OK... You seem to like quite girly names, on the unusual side but familiar and similar to names that are popular now. How about Arabella and...

Penelope
Calliope
Adeline
Evelina
Lucia
Cordelia
Vivienne
Genevieve
Eloise
Paloma
Ophelia
Jemima
Josephine
Seraphina
Elodie
Rosalie
Isadora

AnonymousP · 29/06/2019 21:59

And I think you’re a Sarah!

AnonymousP · 29/06/2019 22:00

Also adding Thalia!

Fatkins · 29/06/2019 22:03

So, do you know you're having girls op?

Babynameseek · 29/06/2019 22:07

No idea on sex, but so clueless on boys names lol

I like Calliope, Evelina, Cordelia, Genevieve, Ophelia, Seraphina and Isadora

TheDisillusionedAnarchist · 29/06/2019 22:14

I think you’re a Charlotte and I’d suggest Eris and Juno for names. With a back up option of Wren

TheDisillusionedAnarchist · 29/06/2019 22:16

I thought about Calypso with Callie for short. Evelina is a hospital, Ophelia just has bad associations but the others are great.

Babynameseek · 29/06/2019 22:19

Eris is cute but to close to a family members name, Juno is cute. Adore awren but friend has it.

Broadbeansaresleeping · 29/06/2019 22:24

Margot
Luna
Clara

You are Charlotte, or maybe Kate, and I think your family is busy, spontaneous and happy.

Congratulations on the twin news!

RickOShay · 29/06/2019 22:26

What about Octavia and Xanthe?

AverageMummy · 29/06/2019 22:30

The girls names - very young mum or perhaps unemployed background (not that there is anything wrong with either of course)
Xavier is a bit 4x4 driving private school....

So as a sibling group - f knows Grin

Babynameseek · 29/06/2019 22:42

@Shayadore adore them, vetoed even before I got pregnant by DH lol

@AverageMummy haha, def neither(altho I wish I was young)

It's all a bit try hard IMO.
Although, I hate 'new' names or overly 'unique' names.
I didn't pick my son's name to make him stand out, I picked it because I liked it. His personality will be what makes him unique.

After all, what's in a name?

SleepingStandingUp · 29/06/2019 23:05

Trying hard to do what tho? I've picked them cos they're, imo, beautiful. Not like I picked Shiningstar Beauty and Ohsoclever Bestest lol
