First Name if Middle Name is "Daisy"

Hi all.

I've posted a name thread before but have come across a dilemma.

If we have a girl I'd really love to give a nod to my sister who's name is daisy, buy giving it as a middle name for our LO. I know my sister would love it, but all of the girls names I like for our first name DO NOT FLOW with daisy as the middle name!

Argh!

Can you lovely lot inspire me with some first names that sound lovely with daisy as a middle name?

Thanks! X

Anything that doesn't end with an 'ie' or 'y'. Any one syllable name (Maeve for example) or anything ending in an 'a' (like Alma or Eliza).

What sort of names do you like?

Peachbubble · 26/06/2019 14:28

Tabitha Daisy
Annabel Daisy
Harriet Daisy
Marissa Daisy

Agree to avoid anything ending in Y or IE.

Anna Daisy
Flora Daisy
Mia Daisy
Caroline Daisy
Madeline Daisy
Emma Daisy
Margot Daisy

Mummoomoocow · 26/06/2019 14:39

Maisie Daisy

Fatkins · 26/06/2019 14:43

What sort of names do you like op?

I like Daisy, but I wouldn't want to go too girly girly with it iyswim. So maybe something like;

Alexandra Daisy
Francesca Daisy
Vivienne Daisy
Saskia Daisy
Josephine Daisy
Emmeline Daisy
Leonora Daisy
Eleanor Daisy
Anita Daisy
Rosanna Daisy

Fwiw, my DD has a family name as her middle name. It does not really go with her first name, (it's an a sound and an a sound, like Sylvia Anna or Luna Alice), but we decided to choose the first name we really wanted and forgot about the whole "goes with" thing.

@Wheresthecoffee92

I love the names:

Sophie (doesn't go!)
Amber
Willow
Anna

But I don't know if I'm just over thinking and think that the name doesn't flow? Lol!

For some reason I like longer first names with Daisy.

BelindasRedPlasticHandcuffs · 26/06/2019 15:22

For some reason I like longer first names with Daisy.

Me too!

Elizabeth Daisy
Josephine Daisy
Charlotte Daisy
Evangeline Daisy
Catherine Daisy
Alexandra Daisy
Annalise Daisy (could them use Anna as a nn?)
Eleanor Daisy
Autumn Daisy (sounds a bit like a paint colour but some people quite like names like this)
Madison Daisy
Alessandra Daisy

Fatkins · 26/06/2019 15:30

Having said that about longer names, I really like Willow Daisy. I love nature names though!

Also love Evangeline Daisy, as suggested by Belinda.

fishfingersandhummous · 26/06/2019 15:30

“Notanother” ????

Sorry, but there’s an awful lot of them about right now!

Fatkins · 26/06/2019 15:31

Eva or Evie for short maybe?

Smoliver · 26/06/2019 15:58

I like the flow of Anna Daisy. Amber Daisy works too, but I just prefer the name Anna. Also, I agree that Sophie Daisy doesn't really flow but what about Sophia Daisy?

Other ideas:
Lydia Daisy
Adeline Daisy
June Daisy
Laura Daisy
Alice Daisy
Brooke Daisy
Eloise Daisy
Clara Daisy
Eliza Daisy

KindleAndCake · 26/06/2019 16:03

Isabella Daisy
Arabella Daisy

A four syllable name seems to flow nicely with Daisy.

Ricekrispie22 · 26/06/2019 16:16

Annabel Daisy (Anna for short)
Wilhelmina Daisy (Willow or Mina for short)
Sophia Daisy
Gabriella Daisy
Abigail Daisy
Francesca Daisy
Martha Daisy
Caitlin Daisy
Genevieve Daisy

The lovely Finnish name 'Uppsi'?

SheeshKebab · 26/06/2019 16:21

@FunnyTinge

😂😂😂

QOD · 26/06/2019 16:22

Jasmine Daisy

SheeshKebab · 26/06/2019 16:22

I think Willow Daisy is lovely 😍

NameChange92 · 26/06/2019 16:26

I think Anna Daisy is fine. Also I second the suggestion Sophia Daisy (you could then call her Sophie as a nn anyway)

Marty93 · 26/06/2019 16:42

Thanks everyone - some really good suggestions here!

And I am having a good chuckle about "Uppsi" as the first name.... 😆😆

The more I think about it the more I am leaning towards "Willow Daisy" ....

Willow Daisy sounds beautiful
Jemima Daisy
Adeline Daisy
Sophia Daisy
Juliet Daisy

MikeUniformMike · 26/06/2019 19:22

Came on to suggest Oopsa

MikeUniformMike · 26/06/2019 19:22

How about something quite different in sound.
Georgina Daisy perhaps.
