My dd wishes I'd have called her Rose
Which is strange as my short list was
Rosie/Rose
Molly
Nicole.
I went with Molly in the end.

I used to call myself music Centre.

hexagon01 · 22/06/2019 17:42

My 2 year old would have Peppa Pig (in full) or Ella (name of his cousin and also his best friend at nursery).

Buyitinbamboo · 22/06/2019 17:47

I'm pregnant and my DD is 3, she likes Lucy (but only for a boy), darling or dinah

Cosmosgrowinmygarden · 22/06/2019 18:01

My granddaughter would choose one of the Paw Patrol characters 😂

BarryBarryTaylor · 22/06/2019 18:37

My dd wants to name her brother lemon tart 😂

BarryBarryTaylor · 22/06/2019 18:38

Should add before we knew if it was a boy or girl, she had suggested May for a girl which pleasantly surprised me, we probably would have used that!

WomanLikeMeLM · 22/06/2019 18:46

I'm pregnant, my 6yodd wants to call baby Violet or Rex and my 10yodd loves the name Sophia or Jacob.

There's a 'famous' family in Australia where the kids were allowed to name their new baby brother; Disco.

TheFatberg · 22/06/2019 19:42

Probably his own name.

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 22/06/2019 19:44

Iv asked all three of mine, 17 year old said Henry for a boy and Amelia for a girl, 7 year old said Jonathon for a boy and lily for a girl, 6 year old said batman for a boy and batman for a girl. Glad I'm not having anymore then!

Perditavita · 22/06/2019 20:29

@littlepeaegg the video where the kids all suggested names...dear me 😂

Zoflorabore · 22/06/2019 20:51

My 8yr old dd is called Lucy and recently told me the names of my future grandchildren- Tommy for a boy and Clover for a girl :)

She has a gaggle of Baby Alive and American Girl dolls and loves to take time in choosing their names and takes it very seriously!

She certainly has a unique style. She has a set of twins called Audrey and Avery and at first I hated the names but I like them now, she pronounces Audrey the American way- sounds like Odrey.

DappledThings · 22/06/2019 21:31

Mr Boom Boom

rugshade · 22/06/2019 21:35

Poo poo!

agirlhasnonameX · 22/06/2019 21:53

DD wanted to call her Dsis Duchess when I was pregnant.

Duchess who is now 3 says 'sweetheart' for a boy and 'clever clogs' for a girl.

SPARKLYSTARSHINESBRIGHT · 22/06/2019 22:03

My DS1 aged 6 wanted to call his new baby sister Fragile Rainbow! Fortunately we chose a different name!

MarshaBradyo · 22/06/2019 22:07

My middle did actually choose for my youngest

He was right it’s way better than the other one we had on the list

TVname · 22/06/2019 22:10

DD (4) is insistent on Tinkerbell. Asked about a boy's name but she won't even consider that a baby might not be the girl she'd want!
