Help with boys names, stuck with 1 week to go!

Hi there, new to mumsnet and due to have a baby boy next week but stuck on names. We really liked Finn but have recently realised just how popular Finn, Finlay, and all the different variations are, which has put us off and got us trying to think of alternatives. So far we’re going round in circles on the following:

Otis
Otto
Rafe
Rufus
Eli
Ellis
Josiah
Seth

Surname is three syllables so we’ve veered towards shorter first names. What do you think? Any other options? At this rate, we might end up pulling names out of a hat! 🤣

Otto, Otis and Rafe are lovely! Ellis is EVERYWHERE where I live, at last count I personally know 12 born in the last year and a bit!

I love Seth and Rafe! I know two little boys with these names and they are cool dudes

I have a Rafe, Milo and an Otis :-)
Other faves from my lists were Otto, Rudy, Caspar and Scout.

Otis and Otto are gorgeous, not so keen on the others.

I like Ellis and he can be called Eli for short.
Josiah is alright, Joe is always acceptable.

Don't like the other names on your list.

I love Rafe, Rufus and Finn. All fabulous names! And I don't mind Otis and Ellis. The rest are not my cup of tea.

If you’re looking for unusual names, I’ve never taught a Rufus

No help at all I know but love them all! I have a Seth and always felt it was a cool name without being too 'out there'! In answer to FullMoons my Seth is very blond, unruly hair very tall and 5 yrs old! At birth he was super long and skinny and he has always been very chilled out!

I love Eli.
Rafe is ok too but spelled Ralph

I think we have quite similar tastes.
I have a Rafe, so that's my top vote obviously!

I am currently pregnant, and Reuben and Rufus are top of my list if it's a boy, but sadly my husband says Rufus is a dogs' name... so that's out! Sigh.

Otto is my next fave on your list.
