OH and I just cant find a boys name we love!

On my short list:
Liam
Owen
Aidan

On his:
Ivan
Jasper
Nathaniel (Nate)

Prefer it not to end in an 'y' sound because of our surname. Also prefer a name which won't automatically get shortened. Something simple and not too out there!

Any other ideas?

Archie is such a lovely name! It's long been a favourite of mine too. While I'm all for people changing a child's name if they've got it wrong I don't think this is necessarily the case here: 1. You've always loved the name - often in cases of name regret it has been a forced and /or last minute quick decision. You had great reasons for choosing it too. 2. You've had PND. You could be over-thinking and over-worrying. Any name could feel wrong. 3. It's such a great name that will work anywhere, and while it's current there are many much more popular names eg Noah, William. 4. The Sussex thing is neither here nor there - so other people think it's a great name too! 5. Your husband loves the name.
I suspect in time as your health improves that your love for the name will return.

My brother is called Owen,
He's never had anyone else in his classes with the same name, or any friends with the name.

None of his friends have a nickname for him either which my mum likes!

I call him Ows but it is only me.

Love the name, even if it is a bit bias x
