Expecting a boy soon, our shortlist is Luca, Leo or Harry.

Which would you choose or can anyone offer some alternatives?

Leo

Leo

Howtotrainyourhamster · 08/06/2019 12:11

Leo

I like Luca best though, but it seems odd unless you have Italian/ Eastern European heritage.

pitterpatterbaby · 08/06/2019 12:12

I like Luca not too keen on Leo

Shadow1234 · 08/06/2019 12:14

Luca by miles

indigo13 · 08/06/2019 12:17

Leo and Harry are very overused so it's a no from me on those. Luca less so but it sounds like you've taken a little step away from Luke/Lucas just for the sake of it

SallyWD · 08/06/2019 12:18

Leo, Harry and Luca in order of preference

Paddy1234 · 08/06/2019 12:21

Luca!

Arriettyborrower · 08/06/2019 12:21

Luca best name ever 😉

Chottie · 08/06/2019 12:22

Harry - it's a timeless name which will never date.

joliejoleen · 08/06/2019 12:26

Leo

Penny4Thoughts · 08/06/2019 12:55

I love all of them actually but the winner is either Leo or Luca.... can’t decide which....

I’m going to say Leo!

llangennith · 08/06/2019 13:14

Isn't every boy called Leo or Harry?

MikeUniformMike · 08/06/2019 13:30

Leo, Harry, Luca.
Luca is a bit naff.

DerelictWreck · 08/06/2019 16:57

I think of Luca as a girls name? I only know female Lucas!

daisypond · 08/06/2019 17:00

Leo, Harry, Luca.
Luca is odd unless you’re Italian. It’ll date badly. Lucas or Luke or Lucian are loads better.

Ameo · 08/06/2019 17:01

Looks like it’s mainly down to Leo or Luca. Shame I like Leo and DH likes Luca - the discussions will continue!

@llangennith yes Harry is quite popular locally, Leo not so much. (I’m a teacher so hear lots of names). Not too worried by popularity.

Pinkvoid · 08/06/2019 18:36

Luca.

lucasmummy2 · 08/06/2019 18:38

I have a Luca and was a bit worried about the non Italian heritage thing but I'm so glad we did it anyway. I still love it and get lots of compliments on the name.

I don't think it's naff at all!

Antonin · 08/06/2019 21:41

Luca is a lovely name. Good for all ages

Astronica · 09/06/2019 07:51

I love Leo and Harry.
