These are my shortlisted three for boys, Which is the best name?
No need for negativity like - oh this names horrible or I don’t like it for this reason. Just simply want people to choose a name and write it down.

Evan, because it not as popular as the others.

fairybeagle · 07/06/2019 03:07

I love Isaac and Zack. At a push I'd probably choose Zack.

LinoleumBlownapart · 07/06/2019 03:10

I like all three, Evan is the nicest as I agree with ABCSigns, it's not as common.

Penny4Thoughts · 07/06/2019 07:37

I like all three but torn between Zachary & Evan because Evan seems unusual

Great list

Trinnidad · 07/06/2019 07:44

Use Isaac with Zack for short?

itssquidstella · 07/06/2019 07:53

Isaac or Zack. I really dislike Evan.

lavenderblues · 07/06/2019 07:55

Evan

sproutsandparsnips · 07/06/2019 08:09

I like Evan but there are 4 in my son's rugby team alone!

mintich · 07/06/2019 08:10

Evan

tiramisu1 · 07/06/2019 08:11

Evan (if I had to choose)

Bluerussian · 07/06/2019 08:13

Zachary is the full name and I like it very much, shortened to Zac (not 'Zack') for friends and family. Also like Isaac (Ike), not so keen on Evan.

2beautifulbabs · 07/06/2019 08:47

Evan and Zack they are really nice names

AutumnColours9 · 07/06/2019 10:31

I love Evan and Zac. Both lovely names.

SleepingStandingUp · 07/06/2019 10:40

Go with Izaak which IS a proper spelling and then you can nn Zaak if you want

JustTheCrowsAndTheBeef · 07/06/2019 11:21

Evan
Zack
Isaac

in that order for me. I actually really love the name Isaac but I couldn’t live with the constant misspelling.

BlueMerchant · 07/06/2019 11:22

Isaac
Like them all.

sunnyshines · 07/06/2019 16:59

Evan or Zachary

diddlediddle · 07/06/2019 17:00

Zack is short for Isaac isn't it? Or Zachary. So you could have two for the price of one.

Not really keen on Evan. Prefer Ivan, which is more like Isaac, no?

Sophronia · 07/06/2019 18:13

Evan is great.

Fedoratheexploreer · 07/06/2019 18:14

I like Evan

Malyshek · 07/06/2019 18:44

Zachary getsy vote. I like 3 syllables for a name. And I like the sound. Probably wouldn't use it because I don't think it works as well in my culture, but I like it.

lucymegan · 07/06/2019 18:48

I love Evan. I like Isaac too, db and sil named one of their twins born yesterday Isaac. Don't like Zach.

Popularity will depend where you are in the country.

Of those names I currently teach (4-7y) 4 Zachary/Zachariah/Zack, 2 Evan and 1 Isaac

suzyrobot · 07/06/2019 20:27

We have an Evan, aged 5 never had any problems with it (the name!) and only know of a couple of others. Lovely name for a little boy
