This is my current list of boys and girls names, I'm open to more suggestions. Which is your favourite boy and girl name out of these options? There's not one that I'm really in love with

I know someone called "Louis" pronounce Lewis.

Only because they don’t know how to pronounce Louis.

Louie is a female name, dim of Louise. Using Louie indicates you know people who might not know how to pronounce the correct spelling. I wouldn’t advertise that personally.

We have really similar lists/taste in names!! Lots of them are very popular, unless you're like me and don't really care about that.

George is the only boys’ name I like from your list. Theo is ok only if short for Theodore

Leo and Ruby are my faves.

Ruby, Lily & Leo for me, they are they only ones I like. Most of the rest are too cutesy for my taste.

Girls: All OK apart from Harper (sounds ultra-American) and Luna (tic)

Boys: Frankie, Alfie, Brodie and Albie sound babyish and will date badly Louis is fine but only when spelt this way. Chester is Chest-o-drawers, not a good look. Theo, Leo, Arlo and Archie are all OK.

If you feel "meh" about all your names, time to go back to the drawing board--it's so much nicer to have a name you really love. All the names you have chosen are very "everywhere" and super popular at the moment, and there is nothing wrong with that but it might explain why you feel unexcited about them? Try some baby name books and look for something that isn't heard quite so often, perhaps?

Best of girl list: Daisy, Lily, Ruby, Luna, Maisie, Mia. Cross off Harper.
Best of boy list: George, Theo, Archie, Leo. Cross off Brodie.
