I have 1 dd already called Lila (lie-la) and 100% set on Violet for the upcoming dd! Is this a good pair?

Both of those were a potential, among others, for my little girl but my partner wasn't so keen :'(

I don't really think that sibling names need to match particularly, but if you're concerned about it, I don't really think Lila and Violet do. Lila is a very modern name, whereas Violet is an old-fashioned name returning to popularity.

I feel that there would be a temptation for one’s tongue to skip over the O in Violet and to pronounce it Vilet, if you see what I mean.

They are fine together as long as you pronounce Violet with three syllables - Vi-o-let. If you say it Vi-let, as a lot of people do, it's too similar to Lila.

I don't think they go very well, sorry.
