Does this name have a certain image?

I recently found this name and think it's very pretty, but partner is saying that he can't imagine the baby to fit with the "image" of the name. Which I don't really understand, cuz I don't know any famous people or characters called Hali (neither does he).

He explained it and I think I kind of get what he's trying to say. It's like how I would hear the name Charlotte and think of a cute freckled red hair. I think of a curly haired brunet when I hear the name Melissa. DH says Hali makes him think of a tanned blonde from Hawaii (cuz the name's apparently from Hawaii), and makes him think the name might not suit her.

So, I'm not so sure right now. Does the name remind you guys of a specific image? Is the name too out there? Tbh I've met tons of people with unique names, but I've never met a Hali before and that makes me wary🤔

I used to know a Halley, which I expect would sound the same. She was from New York, bright and bubbly, small and cuddly-looking, with long dark wavy hair. Great fun and very kind and generous. She was my ex's friend and I was sad to lose touch with her when we broke up.

I know a Hali spelled Halle and she has dark straight hair, I don’t have an image for it.

I know a Hallie and a Halle, but never heard of a Hali.

I think it's a word in Hawaiian, not a name.

Just call her Hallie.
