Caleb reminds me of the weird kid in American Gothic
Dylan ok

Reuben adore
Jesse girl
Albert no

Heymummee · 24/05/2019 21:03

Micah - not keen, reminds me of the annoying singer.
Elijah - lovely, never met one, think it’s a great name for any age child.
Caleb - like this
Dylan - nice but lots of them around
Charlie - not keen, too popular
Edward - lovely. I love Eddie, Ed and Ted as nicknames too.
Theodore - biased, but my DS2 is Theodore. A lot of people say it’s very popular but I’ve not come across any others. Theo or Ted as abbreviations are very cute and suit any age.
Robert - timeless name, I like it.
Isaac - not keen
Reuben - very cute but quite popular these days
Jesse - indifferent about this. It’s a nice name but sounds a bit wet if you see what I mean?
Albert - very cute, could be shortened to Albie, but there’s a few of them in my DS1’s school year.
Patrick - not keen
Ronan - not keen, sounds a bit too grown up.

Hawkinsfirefly99 · 24/05/2019 21:09

My 1 year old is Robert. I chose Robert because it's a timeless classic but very under used at the moment.

To be fair, i like most of those names on your list.

Hippopotas · 24/05/2019 21:32

I like them except Reuben and Jesse

Rocketgirl1 · 24/05/2019 21:34

All ok. Not keen on Robert or Patrick.

RainbowWaffles · 24/05/2019 21:36

I love Jesse and was my second choice for DS. Quite like Edward too. Theodore and Charlie irritate me. The rest I am indifferent about.

LuannC · 24/05/2019 21:38

Faves are Elijah, Theodore, Reuben & Jesse.
Othrer names (not that your wanting new names) that have the same feel are

Like some of the others but (Robert, Theodore, Edward and Patrick are not my taste).

Herefortheduration · 25/05/2019 00:07

My favourite boys name is Jesse, every Jesse I've ever met is super cool, lol. Couldn't use it due to my surname, ds would've been very similar to Jesse James!

Astronica · 25/05/2019 04:12

I really like:

Edward
Theodore
Patrick
Ronan

and I don't mind:
Caleb
Charlie

I dislike the rest and see Elijah as hyper-trendy. I know a teenage Jesse who hates his name.
