Thoughts?

The nn Evie puts me off, but I really like this and like Evvie as opposed to Evie as a shortening. Is Evie/Eva inevitable?

I also like Ariadne but dd1 has a name starting with A and want to avoid same initials.

Just reminds me of the annoying Chalet School character. I’ve never heard of anyone in real life called Evadne

I'm another one who's only come across this name in the pages of a Chalet School book.
