If baby is a boy think we have decided on Deacon just need a middle name. From my shortlist what do you think works?

Well my Deacon is Deacon Barry. It's like using Priest as a first name.

Deacon is an occupation name/surname, so in the same style as Mason, Cooper, Archer, Taylor, Carter, etc. which are fairly well-used.

I think Alexander or Joseph would work best as middle names.

I immediately thought of Deacon Claybourne from 'Nashville!'

Thanks, as much as I like the name Deacon the comments about religious title have put me off a bit so might go with my second choice now which was Aidan. Thinking Aidan Jude or Aidan Alexander. Still got couple weeks to decide.

Aidan Jude is lovely as is Alexander actually
