Charlotte, Annabelle & Eleanor - I chose one of those and have taught two others. Not that unusual! Be clear about what shortenings you'd consider acceptable as you'll be amazed how many there are.

Quinn - Guardians of the Galaxy
Margot - The Good Life

Cressida - head of the Met Police and someone to admire, but unfortunate surname.

Sparklysunflower · 11/05/2019 10:52

All lovely apart from Quinn which is a boys name! Love Charlotte and Annabel (spelt this way).

pikapikachu · 11/05/2019 11:10

With Quinn, you'll get Harley Quinn especially when she's been naughty. I think of it as a unisex name. My dd has a unisex name but hates that fact.

I think our generation will think of Margot (Good Life) but younger people will think of Margot Robbie which isn't a negative association.

Eleanor/Annabelle/Charlotte - great.

Cressida- not my taste at all

My preference r would be Eleanor, Charlotte, Annabella, Margot, Quinn, Cressida

Sparklysunflower · 11/05/2019 11:12

I think Quinn was more popular for boys last year. It's also a common short form for Quentin.

There are so many beautiful girls names to choose from!

DramaAlpaca · 11/05/2019 11:14

Order of preference - Charlotte, Eleanor, Annabel (only that spelling), Cressida, Margot, Quinn.

tdam · 11/05/2019 11:33

Margot
Eleanor
Quinn
Charlotte
Annabelle
Cressida

I absolutely adore the first two and quite like Quinn. Charlotte is also beautiful but much too common for my taste. I don't mind Annabelle but I dislike Cressida personally.

Bumblebeesmum · 11/05/2019 11:57

I don’t like the first 3 at all
Eleanor Annabel & Charlotte are all equally lovely

PlatypusLeague · 11/05/2019 12:40

Annabelle
Eleanor
Cressida
Charlotte
Margot
Quinn

NuffSaidSam · 11/05/2019 12:42

Margot is my favourite by a long way.

Eleanor, Charlotte and Annabelle are all perfectly nice, but a bit overused imo.

Quinn is ok, bit it is more of a boy's name I think. It also makes me think of Glee.

I don't like Cressida.

abcriskringle · 11/05/2019 12:54

My favourite is Annabelle.
Then Cressida, Margot, Charlotte and Quinn.
Least favourite is Eleanor only because I know a ton of little Ellies!

OneKeyAtATime · 11/05/2019 12:55

I don't like Margot and Cressida.
I like Charlotte and Eleanor.

EcceInPictura · 11/05/2019 13:02

Quinn looks like quim written down- sorry.

You other names are lovely.

EcceInPictura · 11/05/2019 13:02

*your

AuntieStella · 11/05/2019 13:15

Margot, Eleanor & Charlotte - like all these (Surely Margot would be a Despicable child to the younger generation?)

Annabelle - like the name but not thus spelling, prefer Annabel

Cressida - don't like

Quinn - for a boy

Peachbubble · 11/05/2019 14:14

Charlotte
Cressida
Annabelle
Margot

Not keen on Eleanor or Quinn

MadameJosephine · 11/05/2019 14:31

In order of preference I like Eleanor, Annabel and Charlotte. Not keen on the others

Lavenderblues · 11/05/2019 15:59

Charlotte is lovely. Also like Eleanor.

Quinn is a boys name, I know a couple of boys called Quinn or Quentin.

Lavenderblues · 11/05/2019 15:59

And Annabel spelt like this!

Ohgodwhyme · 11/05/2019 16:30

Eleanor is my favourite by a country mile.
Then Margot, Charlotte, Annabelle, Cressida and Quinn.
Really don’t like Quinn and Cressida

hopelessatthinkingupusernames · 11/05/2019 17:25

Charlotte is my favourite. Annabelle is nice too but not keen on the others

Icklepup · 11/05/2019 17:26

And Quinn for a boy

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 11/05/2019 19:10

Quinn
Annabelle
Eleanor
Charlotte
Margo
Cressida

brads88 · 11/05/2019 20:08

Hmmm...quite a mixed bag then!!

OP posts:
MarieToulouseBerlioz · 11/05/2019 20:35

Margot, Quinn, Cressida, Eleanor, Annabelle & Charlotte

My order would probably be:
Charlotte
Eleanor
Annabelle
Quinn
Margot
Cressida

For me everything other than Charlotte and eleanor isnt very nice.

Quinn is a surname not a first name to me, Annabelle is very "wet" as some people say and cressida is very posh

kayvade · 11/05/2019 20:38

I like them all except Quinn 🤔
Cressida isnt to my taste but it isnt awful.
Margot, Annabel and Eleanor lovely, sound like jane austen names.
