hi AGAIN I know I keep creating threads but I just want to find a nice name for DD which is due soon.
(last thread was on name Isabella).
our (final) shortlist is:

Isabella
Etta
Mila
Josephine
Callie

I'm really not sure which one I prefer. I LOVE Isabella but am looking for something I bit more original and not dated so not sure thats the right way to go.

anyway what do you think of these names? which is your favourite? and why?

thank you so much :) I promise this will be the last thread!

Josephine is streets ahead, absolute classic but not overused, loads of nns - Jo, Jojo, Posy, Seph, Josie.

Callie is nice but a complete nickname - yes to Calliope.

Isabella totally overused

Etta - may be unusual, but still very boring really! I think you'd grow to regret that one.

Mila - pronunciation - some people will say Meela some Myla.

I love Josephine it's not very commonly used and is both strong and pretty. I also like Etta but I would use it as a nn for Henrietta.

From your list, Isabella followed by Josephine, nn Josie.
Don't like Etta at all, sorry, although I know it is popular atm.
I like Callie as a nn, not quite strong enough as a stand alone name. Calypso?
Mila is a bit meh, I think.
