Guy?

I suggested this to DH very early on. He said no.

We moved on to an endless list of boy names.

He has recently come back with Guy

But now I’m unsure.

Opinions?

I like it. I know 2 brothers called Rex and Guy. I think they have cool names.

I think it's a bit like calling your son Boy or Fella. Sort of stating the obvious!

No for me. Sounds too adult for a child. Can't imagine a baby Guy, or a teenage one for that matter but its your choice

Always thought it's an awful name with no personality.

Imo (obv) it sounds lazy. "Oh it's a boy!", "What do we call him?", "Idk. Guy."

Verhofstadt comes to mind, so no.

Why? Unless you want it pronounced the way the French do so it doesn't sound like “guy” but what a faff that would be.

Boys names are hard. We seem to have a huge list of ones we like but not one we love.
