Which do you prefer? In Scotland, if that makes a difference.

Torrin

GlitterGlassEye · 06/05/2019 17:47

Never heard of Torrin or Torin. I’m in Scotland too.

PaquitaVariation · 06/05/2019 17:56

Torin, if you have to, but none of them really. The only one i know of IRL is Torin and he’s a bloody nightmare.

florascotia2 · 06/05/2019 18:18

Torin is normally spelled with one 'r' not two.
Sebastian has suddenly increased in popularity, if that matters names.darkgreener.com/#sebastian

I like Torin, it looks better than Torrin.

Sebastian is a bit on the fussy side for me, too many syllables.

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 06/05/2019 18:21

Torin or Sebastian

TellItLikeItReallyIs · 06/05/2019 18:21

I've never heard of Torrin but it reminds me of Torrid and I'd worry that you'd be fixing a child with here comes torrid type remarks for ever.

Sebastian is better .

GivenchyDahhling · 06/05/2019 18:21

I love Sebastian, adding it to my list

mycatisblack · 06/05/2019 18:22

I know a Toran if that helps? He's a very sweet little boy.

Yogagirl123 · 06/05/2019 18:23

No keen on Torin, but love Thor Swedish pronunciation Tor.

Shadow1234 · 06/05/2019 19:42

Torin would be my choice
Not keen on Sebastian

PlatypusLeague · 06/05/2019 19:50

I like Torin. I wouldn't spell it with a double r as it's too similar to "torrid". Sebastian is OK.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 06/05/2019 19:55

Torin

Sparklysunflower · 06/05/2019 20:03

Torin definitely! Strong and cool.

I really dislike the Seb/Sebby/Basty nicknames that Sebastians often end up with!

Sparklysunflower · 06/05/2019 20:04

Torin or Torrin

Sophronia · 06/05/2019 20:56

Torin

SherlockHolmes · 06/05/2019 21:07

Sebastian always seems a very weak name to me. Don't think much to Torin or Torrin sorry.

BackforGood · 06/05/2019 21:07

Never heard of Torin or Torrin.
Where's it from ? Is it from a non-UK cultural background ?

I've never really liked Sebastian though, so I am a bit stuck on this thread. Grin

Littlechocola · 06/05/2019 21:08

Never heard of Torin, Torrin. Not keen.
Sebastian is lovely.

Bumblebeesmum · 06/05/2019 22:04

Never heard of Torin and don’t really like it
Sebastian is cool

MrsAmaretto · 06/05/2019 22:09

Like Torin, fed up of Sebastian. Also in Scotland

Bonbonchance · 06/05/2019 22:46

Torin is lovely, I taught one once (Scotland) he was the sweetest little boy and just a bit cool. Easy name to learn to spell and write too😬

MercyBodle · 07/05/2019 10:00

Torin.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 07/05/2019 10:02

I love Sebastian. I don't like Torin. I'm Scottish and know it is a somewhat traditional name but it sounds a bit chavvy to me and the only Torin I know is a nightmare
