Kerris?

WDYT of Kerris? Anglicised version of Cerys.

Cerys is so much nicer. Don’t see the need to butcher an easy to pronounce name in the first place.

Cerys is much nicer and I don’t think it would be hard to pronounce.

It sounds chavvy to me tbh. I much prefer Cerys.

Cerys sounds so lovely with a Welsh accent. It does not sound nice with my accent. And with the Anglicised spelling it's worse.

Agree with the PP who said it looks like a chav name. Stick to the original.

To be fair Kerris/Kerys is the Cornish version (similarly Ceri and Kerry are different versions depending on geography).
As a welsh person I prefer Cerys but it’s equally valid with a K.

As an aside, I bloody love Cerys Matthews.
