Expecting my first, (and last) girl. I have two boys already.

I LOVE the name Polly. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it has a special place in my heart and DH has come round to it, which I NEVER thought would happen.

Can't decide on a middle name for her. DH loves Polly Lennon, and because he finally came around to the name I believe I should let him choose the middle name, BUT I also have a few names I Iove too. So please help me out!

Polly Lennon
Polly Stella
Polly Delilah

Thanks Guys Thanks

I actually love Polly Lennon! Very cool and unexpected.

Polly Delilah is also lovely.

Shadow1234 · 01/05/2019 15:21

Polly is a lovely name. (and I think Polly Lennon is a great name).

I think the fact that your DH has finally come round to liking your name choice, it would be a nice compromise to let him choose the middle name. (middle names are not used that much anyway, so it would be a win win situation).

I think Lennon is weird - like after the Beatle? Is it a name in its own right? I've never heard it and it sounds quite masculine to me. Polly is cute and girly and vintage and Lennon is like, quite boy-ish and modern. Polly Eliza does sound good, or what about Polly June?

MikeUniformMike · 01/05/2019 16:38

Esther or Anna.
I love the name Polly. Polly Lennon Tiful is nice.

I love the name Polly and Polly Lennon Tiful is a nice name.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 01/05/2019 18:26

Polly Delilah is the nicest out of your list.
I have an irrational hatred of the name Stella.
Lennon is nice idea if you're a Bealtes fan. Although it does flow well with Polly.

Polly Stella sounds like Polyfila to me.

I assume the pp saying Polly Esther was joking!

Poppy Lennon 100%!!!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 03/05/2019 14:45

Lennon?

I have a male name /surname as my middle name and I cannot begin to tell you how much I bloody hate it (and I rarely use the word hate)

The only document that still has my bloody ludicrous middle nme is my BC because I cannot change that , I have eradicated it from everything else (and it takes some doing )

I asked my DDad (who went to register me the day after I was born) Did you not think to ask Mum "Why are we saddling our daughter with this stupid name" ? but he said "Your Mum liked it"

Rant over . My DC have no middle names .

MumUnderTheMoon · 04/05/2019 01:33

Polly Lennon is so freakin cool. I love a really funky middle name with quite a sweet first name give edge. Let him have this one.

bridgetreilly · 04/05/2019 02:39

I really think it is completely fine to give your daughter the same middle name as your niece. I literally can't think of a single situation in which this could be confusing or problematic.

GirlRaisedInTheSouth · 04/05/2019 02:55

Polly Lennon is the coolest name I’ve heard in a long time!
