Our first baby is due in June and we are thinking of some names. We both really like Fox for a boy but don't know if it's just too silly?
What do people think?

I actually don't think it's too dreadful, but it depends on the type of family tbh. I'd think it was a nice middle name, but I don't think I could ever even consider it for a first name. Like I say though, depends on the style of your family.

The only Fox I know is a transgender activist/film maker. He's pretty cool.

As above, I think it really depends on so much whether or not you can pull off a name like Fox. I wouldn't be brave enough, personally (and I'm definitely not cool enough).

I don’t think it’s too silly, I think it’s actually becoming quite popular

I don't like it but that's because I see it more as a surname and not a first name. It's not really terrible or anything though.

Met a cute pair of siblings the other day called Phoenix and Fox! Loved their names 😍

I prefer those names, I think my favourite is Gabriel.

I like Gabriel, Fox is a little ‘out there’.

I think Fox would be a very cool middle name, but possibly a bit out there for a first name. Unless he turns out to be an FBI Special Agent, of course!

Of the other three suggestions, I like them best in the order you've written them...

Benjamin Fox sounds cool. But go with what you both want, if you both like Fox for a first name go for it!

Personally I'd much rather be a Fox than a Ben. I think Fox is cool, strong and easy to spell and say.

Not keen on Fox...maybe as a middle if you feel really strongly drawn to it.

Agree with above- it's quite a cool name but I feel like you'd have to be quite a hipster/boho family to pull it off?
