I like it - boy or girl though?

Starryskiesinthesky · 26/04/2019 21:20

Desperate housewives! Quite like it!

SilviaSalmon · 26/04/2019 21:21

I think you’d be setting them up for the nickname “nosey” or “pen”!

incogneto · 26/04/2019 21:21

@Cmagic7 A boy!

@Starryskiesinthesky ah yes! I remember him

Love it.

DramaAlpaca · 26/04/2019 21:23

I'm sorry, I really dislike both the sound of it & the look of it written down.

incogneto · 26/04/2019 21:25

Mixed responses then! Me and DP just can't decide on a name.

He suggested Parker a while ago and I hated it but it's really grown on me now. We did have the name Arthur picked out last week but then changed our minds (again)

We better hurry up and decide because induction is happening tomorrow...

Oh exciting!

incogneto · 26/04/2019 21:27

@Starryskiesinthesky and very nerve wracking! Grin

I think I like it. It sounds quite American but I'm a fan of that. I don't reckon DH would like it but then I love Ezra and he hates it so he's clearly got no taste 😂

Good luck for tomorrow!

IggyAce · 26/04/2019 21:28

I like Parker, but I do like surnames as first names. Other suggestions
Chase
Preston
Austin
Archer

ThanksItHasPockets · 26/04/2019 21:29

Thunderbirds.

barryfromclareisfit · 26/04/2019 21:31

Sorry, it’s terrible.

TurquoiseAndPurple · 26/04/2019 21:34

I really love Parker! I know of twins named Phoebe & Parker ❤️

Heratnumber7 · 26/04/2019 21:34

What's your surname?

incogneto · 26/04/2019 21:35

Thanks everyone for your thoughts!

WIBU to just wait until he's born and we've had a look at him before naming him? Hmm

OP posts:
Heratnumber7 · 26/04/2019 21:35

Actually, whatever your surname is, "it's a No from me".

FromDespairToHere · 26/04/2019 21:35

Thunderbirds

incogneto · 26/04/2019 21:35

@Heratnumber7 his surname would begin with a W

AfterSchoolWorry · 26/04/2019 21:38

Nosy Parker.

Awful.

Chocolatedeficitdisorder · 26/04/2019 21:58

It so surnamey that it doesn't sound right as a first name, especially on baby.

Peter?

YouLikeTheBadOnesToo · 26/04/2019 22:00

My ds’ first little friend was called Parker. It’s not a name I would have ever considered, but knowing the little boy, and seeing him grow into his name I really like it.

ScreamScreamIceCream · 26/04/2019 22:03

Nosy Parker like PPs said.

Chose a name without horrible connotations attached to it.

PippilottaLongstocking · 26/04/2019 22:03

Desperate housewives was my first thought too! It’s not a name I’d choose but it’s not one I’d judge someone for using either!
