If you don’t live in the UK and speak a language where lava means something other than the stuff that erupts from volcanoes then I’m sure it’s no worse than any other name.

I don't think the girl is of British heritage. The more I've heard it said the more I'm getting used to it. She did say something like "I've been told I have the attitude to match" in regards to her name.
