Stuck on boy’s name and we can’t agree!

Second boy on way. DH wants Franklin 🤮

I want any of these: Sebastian, Edison or Grayson.

Our DS’s name ends in ‘son’.

Anyone able to chuck any suggestions our way and give me your thoughts on Franklin?

Franko? I hope that was a typo! I agree with your DH about Sebastian but Franklin is awful. What about Benjamin or Thomas, the first names of Franklin and Edison?

Franklin is bloody awful and we are not naming him that. My DH also likes Sheridan 🤮 and Kirby 🤮

Or how about Lewis? That's a surname and a first name and quite nice.

The Sheridan and Kirby I know and know of are girls, I guess they are quite unisex.

@Divgirl2 we can’t use that as my nephew is Harvey. You’re right though he does seem to like those at the moment, even though they’re meaningless! Lol.

We only choose a surname for our first as it was my dad’s and he died when I was a kid. My dad’s first name definitely isn’t a kids name anymore.

I’ve compiled a list today that I’ll share with him later on.

Well I will go against the grain here and say I think your dh has a fab taste in names op. I am less keen on yours. I think Franklin is awesome and has many possibilities for what he wants to be when he grows up

(Franklin Frank Frankie Lin Linny etc etc)

I’m not keen on Franklin but prefer it to Grayson and Edison. Frank/ Frankie is nice.

Sebastian is by far the nicest and is not posh at all currently as it has become quite popular. I know 2 Sebastians and a Seb in our small (Yorkshire!) town, all from quite normal, not posh families!

What about Francis instead of Franklin which I agree, is dreadful. I think of a big guard dog for some reason!

Gray sounds a bit weak. I prefer Gregson but then if you have two names ending in son that would sound matchy matchy.
