hey everyone my twin boys are nearly here (!!!) and I think I’ve landed on their names...
Casper & Thomas.
do they ‘go’? do they go with my daughter’s names (Ella and Ava)? am I overthinking for no reason whatsoever? likely.
I really wanted Chester & Elliott but my DH didn’t agree. thoughts?? xx

Firstly congratulations! I don't think Caspar is of the same style as Thomas in my personal opinion. But I can imagine how hard it is to pick 4 boys names (with presumably middle names to boot) and for you and hubby agreeing even harder.

Circeplease · 14/04/2019 21:38

Ooh I like! What a fab four . Love the way Caspar is slightly more modern and Thomas more traditional - bit too twee to have “George & William” or “Oscar & Milo” etc for twins. I think they go very well together

Tiramisu1 · 14/04/2019 21:40

Caspar and Elliott are lovely!

CarmineStarman · 14/04/2019 21:43

Love the name Elliott (have one of my own) but not a good idea if you've already got an Ella.
Thomas and Caspar are nice,
Luca/Lucas
Christopher
Toby
Dylan

PlatypusLeague · 14/04/2019 22:04

Caspar (prefer this spelling) and Thomas are both lovely names.

girlsname · 14/04/2019 23:28

Ella and Ava sound adorable together and go so well. I'm really not sure the boys names 'fit' though? With a name like Caspar I'd expect a Felix, Ezra, Oscar etc

MercyBodle · 15/04/2019 03:34

Casper and Thomas are both great names and I love them together for twins. And I think they work well with the sisters' names too.

LittleMissMummaBear · 15/04/2019 09:36

Thank you for the replies! I hadn’t thought of the problem of Ella with Elliott- now you’ve mentioned it, they are far too close! Does anyone have some names Casper works well with? I might wait and see if baby no2 looks like a Thomas or not! x

Casper and Thomas are brilliant! Congratulations OP Flowers

Icklepup · 15/04/2019 17:20

Casper and Thomas are nice!

Casper and Jacob
Casper and Henry
Casper and Rufus
Casper and Elijah
Casper and Malcolm
Casper and Bernard
Casper and Eric
Casper and Matthew

Icklepup · 15/04/2019 17:22

Or Casper and Magnus!
:)

raeray · 15/04/2019 17:41

Casper and Lucas
Casper and Dylan
Casper and Joel
Casper and Otto
Casper and Samuel
Casper and Owen

Just a few suggestions but whatever you choose will be lovely I'm sure.
Have your girls made any suggestions?

Divgirl2 · 15/04/2019 18:09

Caspar and Thomas work quite well I think. Or Caspar and Vincent? Caspar and Leon? Caspar and Basil?

LittleMissMummaBear · 15/04/2019 18:21

Ooh thanks for the lovely replies I quite like Dylan. What does everyone think of Chester? It’s been my favourite boy name since forever but I know its an either love it or hate it name!
My girls are 4 & 3, they refer to the babies as Caspy & Bubba. Haha, so no suggestions from them! x

Def not Elliott with an Ella. How lovely two boys to go with two girls tho - fun times ahead for you all!

I'm with the others that say Casper and Thomas don't go so well, Casper should be with something else more unusual and Thomas with something else more traditional - in my opinion.

Chester and Casper wouldn't be my choice but they aren't too out there! Ava and Ella are both quite popular names as is Thomas.

Ava, Ella, Thomas & Harry/Finley?
Ava, Ella, Casper and Jared?

bridgetreilly · 15/04/2019 18:52

Casper and Thomas are very good choices.

Chester is awful. And as pp have said, you can't have Ella and Elliot. So stick with the decision you've made.

Isadora2007 · 15/04/2019 18:56

Oh sorry- against the grain here but I’d want a single syllable rather than all four having double syllable names. A triple would even do. So
Caspar and Tom
Or Joe
Or Todd
Or Max

Or Theodore
Sebastian
Alexander

regularbutpanickingabit · 15/04/2019 18:58

Casper goes very well with Ava and Ella. Agree that Elliott is a no no with Ella. Dylan is a great name and fits nicely. I also like the fact it ends in a different sound to the other 3 names.

If you are still not sure then what about:
Ava, Ella, Casper and Rafael (or Rafi)
Ava, Ella, Casper and Jacob
Ava, Ella, Casper and Louis
Ava, Ella, Casper and Leo
Ava, Ella, Casper and Joseph
Ava, Ella, Casper and Matthew
Ava, Ella, Casper and Oscar (another 'a' sound but a great name)
Ava, Ella, Casper and Rex ( would have loved a Rex!)
Ava, Ella, Casper and Milo
Ava, Ella, Casper and Jude

Divgirl2 · 15/04/2019 19:18

I think the problem with Chester is that it's the same initial. They'll presumably have the same DOB, having the same initial too can cause all sorts of issues with medical records, government departments etc.

Caspar and Benedict?

MyDcAreMarvel · 15/04/2019 19:19

Chester is a place not a baby name.

AJPTaylor · 15/04/2019 19:21

Thomas and Max

BlackPrism · 15/04/2019 20:05

Chester is hideous, Caspar is gorgeous. I like
Caspar and Oliver
Caspar and Tormund
Caspar and Matteus

CarriMarie · 16/04/2019 11:29

Caspar Elliot and Jacob Thomas

BiggerBoat1 · 16/04/2019 11:36

Lovely names. I love Ella, Ava and Thomas. Slightly less keen on Casper.

Sorry, but Chester is a place and sounds awful as a name.

Elzbells · 16/04/2019 11:39

I would have Casper and Max.

Don't like Chester personally.
